Combined Grind!!

Just started participating in the CASE study challenges and this week it is combined with the Play Date Cafe color challenge. Thus, "Combined Grind".  The Muse this month at CASE study is Eva Doblias and Play Date Cafe colors come from her card {black, red, green}. One of my absolutely fav color combos and there are some gorgeous cards out there... you need to check out the links and take a peek!!

My card....

Don't own the large nestie Eva used or have a cutting machine to make the base card so.... tore the edges a little and downsized from there. Used the SU top note die and cut out 2 in vanilla and red polka dots, the red polka dots was cut at the score line and layered. Added some lace and ribbon. Used the same nestie for the center in two sizes and popped the smallest with sentiment on top. Flourish in red is from Verve's set "Blessings" and sentiment is from "Amazing Wishes". Verve large and medium flowers {Great Friend} were stamped on black and two different patterns from SU's Love Letters dp. All were cut out and layered. Added some red pearls from PizzazzaPlenty to the center of the last flower. For the leaves and butterfly, I used sizzlet dies from SU!! Used an Anthracite Viva Decor pen for the black dots on the nestie. Phew..... done!!

We are having wonderful weather here, for several days in the high 60's and 70's!! Has "kicked in" my seasonal allergies a little and I'm living with headaches and pressure!! Still lovin' no coats and no sweaters!!

TFL!!

Lucky you, 60s and 70s? How about the temp is 19° tonight here in Jersey? I know, feel sorry for me... :)
Anyway...I adore your card, Vickie...love your creativeness in ripping the edges (essentially distressing) and the way that Top Note die highlights your sentiment so beautifully! Gorgeous flower and fab cork butterfly!
