Cute as a Button...

and so are ALL the new stamps from Verve's latest release!!! Haven't even made a dent in the new release!! Lots of flowers, new dies, sentiments that are perfect, fabulous fonts.... need I say more?? Time is creeping up on me... lots to do and no time to stamp (limited anywho), had some time to play in a couple challenges. Colors are from the Play Date Cafe challenge this week.... color splash... black/white with a splash of red and layout is from CASE study. Julie Lacey is the MUSE. Definitely one of my fav stampers.... clean layouts and layers and gorgeous bows!!

Julie's card  and the colors...

Look at the flowers and swirls on those cupcakes!! Elements I CASE'd from Julie's card... layout liberally, bow, and focal panel..... I changed... colors, added lace, sentiment in the corner instead of on the focal panel, and altered the layout some. Stamped flowers from Verve's Sunny Days onto a circle nestie and added buttons.... perfect with the sentiment. Outlined with a copic multiliner and used some dp (retired SU). Added a little crochet lace (couldn't help myself, LOL!!).

TFL!! Hope you had a great holiday weekend... mine was filled with wedding errands and a little shopping (summer sales)!!

Renovating at my house... working on granite kitchen countertops... didn't realize this would be such a project (how Slow am I??). Have to go to the granite "warehouses".... (honestly I know that's not the proper term) to pick out the slabs!! Think.... long-term vision!!!!! My new camera came and I haven't even had a chance to check it out!!

To find discount countertops, take a look at some stone fabrication shops that manufacture stones which come from local quarries. Most probably, the transportation costs of these stones will cost less. Although you did not technically get a discount, you were still able to cut down its cost.
