You're a Doll

My new Waltzingmouse goodies arrived. Yippee!! It's always a good day when new stamps arrive.

I inked up one of the Russian nesting dolls from "You're a Doll" and colored with copics. You need to check out this set- the image I used was a "complete" doll but, there are all kinds of images in this set to create your own unique nesting dolls. It was adhered with foam dots onto a background that was made with the "Crackle background". Sentiment is from You're a Doll.

Used this week's Retrosketch...

We're still getting a lot of rain with little bursts of sunshine. Although, I would like more sunshine- it's doing wonders for the veges!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!

God Bless....

America.... well, actually God Bless Us All!! {Ha- does that sound like Tiny Tim in the Christmas Story :-) Anywho- I played with some new Waltzingmouse Stamps Claire designed in honor of those of us in North America (below the Canucks) as this is our Independence Day!! My Canadian friends celebrated on Monday and today is our turn.

Used the Color Throwdown colors for a trendy Independence Day Card. All those fireworks are images included in this set - several sizes and if you look closely the Bermuda Bay firework in the  background is actually tiny stars-- OH MY WORD- tiny but, perfect image- the detail is amazing! Added a little bling, stitching, tag banners, and heat embossed the sentiment over Lady Liberty who was stamped and fussy cut.

Used the SCS sketch but, rotated to the left.

Wishing you a wonderful July 4th!! We are in the throes of lots of rain {wishing I could send it out west for the wildfire} and wondering if the day will be spent inside celebrating- either way- it's all good- time with family and friends!

Hugs and Kisses!

Made a card using this fabulous tulip image from Serendipity Stamps. The colors were inspired by this week's Color Throwdown colors.

Stamped the tulip vase with crumbcake onto XPress It blending cardstock and colored with copics. Added crystal effects to the vase to make it shiny. The sentiment is from Serendipity stamps also- stamped onto a MFT tag die-namic. Added half a paper doily and ribbon. The tulip vase is popped on foam dots for dimension. Have several colors of blue here and the lighter pink does match the color story- thinking it photo'd darker or I edited darker!!

Here's the colors...

Wonderful!

HAVE NOT played with Waltzingmouse Stamps Camellia for a while and since it's summer {yeah, I know Camellias are a spring flower} I just wanted to stamp these gorgeous blooms!!

Used the CQC colors  and the current RetroSketch {sneaking in under the wire on this one}.  The embossing folder is Quikkutz and added a few enamel dots-yes, I had to have a few of these.

Colors....

Sketch....

Hope you're having a fabulous start to the WE.... I'm trying to get a little stampin' in- tomorrow is a boat day- we don't live on the lake {ah, if I was only rich!} so, we purchased this big ole' lounge thingy [holds 6} the plan is to drop anchor and relax!!

WPLus9- Fresh Cut Florals!

Oh. Mm. Gee. IN LOVE with Fresh Cut Florals {well the Ikat images too and cupcakes and milk bottles/straws.. check the link}  These stamps and dies arrived at my house a bit ago but, I was struggling with back issues- finally had a chance to ink them up.

I don't think I even used every image in this set and certainly limited my colors to 7. These images are 2 and 3 step stamping-- when I started adding the colors -  I squealed...seriously... the layers/images line up perfectly!! Tonite my fav are the little berries. Don't these flowers/leaves look fabulous layered over the Ikat border and oh, what a sweet sentiment.

Here's the Mood Board...

Gushing soo much I forgot to say the card was made based on the Monday Mood Board- link above.

Hope you have a great weekend- I'm stamping a little tonite and cruising on the boat/enjoying the sunshine tomorrow!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
