Coffee Anyone?

Top Dog Dies is releasing some new dies today... coffee anyone?

IN LOVE with this Top Dog Dies Coffee die!! First off I made a gift tag to go along with a bag of beans... strong beans :)

I used Top Dog Dies Tag Album die and die cut the small tag in the set. Added some designer papers (Amy Tangerine Stitched), sentiment from Verve (Coffee), and ribbon. The band on the coffee die was cut using a Starbucks wrapper... love the corrugation!

Of course, I wasn't done playing and this card uses the Coffee die and the Antique Mat die set.

I've made a couple cards using the Top Dog Dies Signature Antique die and the new Antique Mat set coordinates... LOVE!! The new die cuts both a large panel and the little rim (you see in gray on my card) for an extra added element!!

These new dies and a few more are available now... go HERE to see all the new goodies and some inspiration from the rest of the DT.

PS I have a couple more cards using these 2 new dies coming!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!

Color Throwdown #337- whatever you do....

make sure it makes you happy!!!

Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!! And Happy Hump Day!! Barbara brought these wonderful colors this week.... wondering if this scene reminds her of the streets in Italy.

This week I practiced my coloring again using a Saturated Canary image.

The sentiment is from PTI. I was working on my "tiny flicks" on the hair to get that streaky look and now when I see it on the computer.... it appears her hair is dripping blood....geesh :)

Top Dog Dies Friday!!

Ha- I am on time this week!! Still in the spring mood and will probably last for quite a while!! Our temps are finally staying in the 60's and 70's for the most part ( a little cool last WE) and I am LOVING it!!

This week I made another shaped card using Top Dog dies Signature Antique die and the Pretty Petals dies set.

The sentiment is from Top Dog dies Thanks - die cut in gold!! Bling is good!! This die has a large Thanks with a frame and several smaller word dies... versatile!!

Here's a little close up of the flowers and sentiment.

There are some new dies coming.... one that just might coordinate with this one :) LOVE IT!!

Color Throwdown # 336- beautiful ride!!

Good Morning.. I would say happy hump day but, I am off Friday so, it's a short week and I am healthy!!  Welcome to this week's Color Throwdown. Wanda is the hostest this week!!

At first I was a little stumped with these colors, not sure why since I LOVE them!! Then I decided to go literal with the inspiration pic and a PTI set that I have had for over a year and never inked.

Here's my card...

Now, the funny thing... I wanted to add some dimension and could've sworn I had the matching dies but, 2 looks through my room and couldn't find them. So I did some "straight" stamping and added a little dimension with layers, enamel dots, and embossed sentiment.

Wouldn't you know the next day, I was cleaning up this "little pile" I had on the floor and there were the dies :) Y'all have "little piles" right!?!

Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog- Monograms and Verse!!

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog! We love seeing what you make with your Serendipity Stamps and Dies. Once a month (on the first Wednesday) we post a new challenge with a central theme. The design team provides samples for inspiration at the beginning, and then again at the half way point of the challenge (on the third Wednesday), but you get the whole month to join us!

Monograms and Verse – Create a monogram card or a card that features a verse. If you choose to do a monogram feel free to be creative! Snip a letter off a die. Use a single letter from a verse stamp. Mix letters from different alphabets.  Need a little more inspiration?  Just make sure you include at least one Serendipity Stamps image on your design.

Want to go shopping?  We're trying something new - a  "stamp of the month".  This time it's the Jar Label.  You can purchase the stamp of the month all through April for 50% off.  You can see it here.

Here's my card... I die cut the Valentines and snipped off the V for my card!! Fun, Huh!!

Now when I think of monogramed cards... I think clean and simple. I did clean and simple but added a few layers and stitching for a little interest along with this fabulous paper (Amy Tangerine Stitched)- isn't that floral pattern gorgeous!!

Here's a little close up of my "monogram"

Our special guest this month is Karen Dunbrook of Snippets blog. I hope you will stop by her blog - I think you're going to love what you see!

For more inspiration there are samples from the design team on the challenge blog or you can visit them directly and get all the details by clicking on their names below.

The rules are simple... play along using at least one Serendipity Stamps image on your submission and link it below. You don't have to have a blog to play along - you can link your designs to any on line gallery. In fairness to other players, we reserve the right to remove entries that do not display a Serendipity Stamps image.
