Sent With Love

Squeaking in the monthly sketch from The Crafts Meow!! It was rainy here in Charlotte over the WE so... no boating, which gave me a little more time to stamp!!

Used TCM Sent With Love. Papers are from Authentique's Lively. Added lace {Websters Pages} and crochet trim. Sentiment on a banner and a rolled rose with brad to finish off.

Freckles... ISSC35

It's Friday morn' and time for another I Spy sketch!! Y'all created fabulous cards last week.... keep 'em coming!! This is the sketch challenge where we look for YOUR cards for Inspiration!! ISSC25 is based on this card by  Audrie Magno-Gordon (girlgeek101 @ SCS).

Audrie's card is wonderful but, I have to say I was a bit stumped by the sketch at first {I don't usually look at the card before I make mine}.

My card is a mirror image of the sketch. I have had this adorable MFT PI, aptably named Freckles, for a bit and decided it was time to ink it up.... my youngest has lots of freckles....she's not so young anymore but, she loved the sentiment when I showed her - she's "grown into" them!! She requested a B-Day card using this set! Stamped the image in SU basic gray, colored a bit with copics, paper pieced the dress and punched out with a SU circle punch. Stitched a bit in the upper left and lower right corners and added the seam binding, button, twine combo for a little "sumthin".  This is also for this week's Ribbon Carousel Challenge to use buttons and twine- RCC72. Corinna has a sale going on right now while she's on vaca and there are goodies to be had!!

Spread a Little Happiness-WMS!!

Here's my card for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge! Designed by The Claire Brennan {Head Moustress}.

Inked up the jar from Candy Jar Xmas Fillers and added a topper and sentiments from Jar Fillers-Jam Packed. Stamped a pattern from Heirloom Patterns in SU So Saffron onto white. Added Ribbon Carousel seam binding with a bow/button/twine combo. Used cheesecloth for the upper right corner {instead of a tag} and a little in the lower left. Monika Davis at MAD Stamper has been using cheesecloth... HAD to have some and try it out!!! Purchased mine on Ebay and just finally made a card I thought it would work with!! I realize I am in love with these nesties... will change it up soon...promise!!

Now.... have you ever made a card you were happy with... but, hadn't finished.... tooooo much time to think if you wanted to add a little "sumthin sumthin"... and then, you did... wished you hadn't...and don't have enough of that perfect paper to start again?? Grrrr.....

Happy Monday... my week started off well after, a couple weeks of craziness!! Played in the CR84FN color challenge... denim, brown, and tan. Well, it's been a while since I used denim on a card so..... I did and this card also uses the Verve weekly sketch... week 4 by Janelle.

Used some denim for the top horizontal layer with lace from Websters Pages stitched onto the denim layer, added a Verve Banner die stamped with the chevron pattern from Borderline and adhered on top of a Cherry Lynn die. Sentiment is from Verve's Lean On Me and was "popped" on top. Denim and lace {my girls would LOVE it... I only should've added pearls or bling, LOL!!}
