WMSC104- Hey, How are You?

Happy Saturday Morn!! Hope the weekend has started well for you! This week for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge, we have a lovely sketch by Ms. Teresa Kline. I actually made two cards this week, you see I started making my first one and realized that I have been a bit hooked on orange and turqoise (actually a LOT, LOL!!) and decided I needed to change the colors up a bit.

Papers are Simple Stories Summer Fresh. The yellow panel was stamped with the smaller herringbone pattern from WMS Heirloom Patterns and the Oval was stamped with WMS Vintage Circles Small and layered onto a piece of burlap. Sentiment is from WMS Compact Sentiments. Couldn't resist a couple of flag banners.

Here's my other card
See I told ya' I was getting a bit hooked on orange and turqoise!! The orange panel was stamped with the large herringbone from Heirloom Patterns. Sentiments are from Victorian Frippery and Fancy Phrases. The labels 4 nesties have an outline stamped in crumbcake from Very Vintage Labels 4.

Here's Teresa's sketch.

Here is the connection for the challenge, in case you missed it at the top. ALSO, just wanted to let you know that WMS is having a release tomorrow, Sunday and the DT have been showing sneek peaks. Some fabulous new stamps on the way. You can check it our here.

Thanks for stopping by!! Appreciate all the kind words!!

What's the Buzz... ISSC22!!

Yep... you will hear it again!! YIPEE!! This has been some kind of few weeks for me, phew... time to slow down!!

Kick starting the weekend with the 22nd sketch at I Spy Sketches. This is the sketch challenge where we come looking for YOUR cards for inspiration!! This week the sketch is based on  this card by Julie Mogford (jules_bmp@ SCS). Adorable, right?!?!
Pulled out a set from The Crafts Meow that I got a while back and hadn't seen ink yet. It has bunches of different hexagon stamps along with some adorable bees and sentiments, just sayin'!! Tobi Crawford made this card a while back and it reminded me of this set (and that I hadn't inked it up) so....

Stamped the single outline hexagon onto some strips of Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 paper (bought two of these as I LOVED the papers) and rounded the corners. Stamped those bees onto XPress It Blending cardstock and colored a "titch" with copics. Sentiment is stamped on white and cut out with Verves Embossed Oval die and attached with a SU clip. Card base and Bees are all popped up with foam.

Here's the sketch

It's your turn....have fun and get to Stampin!! Make a card using the sketch- you can take a bit o' liberty and link it up.... we'd LOVE to see what you create!! Make sure and stop by the blog to see what the other Special Agents created-serious creativity and inspiation!!

Now... to this week's sketch

Ms. Edna gave me a bit of a pause... but, I finally came up with something. A challenge is a challenge... the fun is all about seeing if you can make something that "fits"

Started this card last weekend and I'm still thinking on it... all those little strips- tried several different ideas.... do y'all ever do that? Think something could be changed just a bit?

I love this WMS set- Asian Garden Additions. Don't you just love those clouds and bridge! I need  the complentary set- Asian Gardens -gorgeous flowers along with a bunch of wonderful ditties- Claire always adds some wonderful ditties!! I have seen some gorgeous cards with the branch/flowers recently!

Ms. Edna's sketch...

I'm also imagining this sketch with Half Pint Heroines- brick wall for the bottom strips, cloudy sky with a popped up girl in a balloon on top--bright colors and all those fabulous sentiments!! Yep... may have to do another when my new stamps get here!!! Am I pondering/blogging out loud at your expense... Sorry!

Can't wait to see how everyone interprets this sketch!! You have until next Friday at noon to post to the link at WMS. All the info here.

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Appreciate all the kind words!!

I tried a little coloring... now, I color some but, not usually this many images!

I fell in LOVE with this TSG (There She Goes) set a long time ago.... yes, I know you have too!! Used some MME papers, colored with copics, adhered-popped different layers with foam, and added some seam binding from the Ribbon Carousel!!

Here's the sketch...

'Kay it's late and blogger (or my old computer) is acting funny. It's your turn- have fun and get to stampin'! Can't wait to see what you create!!

Merci!!

That's a big "Merci" to my dad... actually I've always called him "papa" and I'm blessed I can still do that!! He raised 5 (yes, that's 5) kids- 4 girls and one boy (the youngest)!! Happy Fathers' Day and Thanks!! My parents live in Indiana but, we've talked on the phone and my younger sis was busy all day so she took him (and mom) out for ice cream---he's totally addicted, totally perfect to do!!
Today is the WMS blog waltz and I'm finally getting to play!!
Used Victorian Frippery... definitely a "go to" and stamped the square fleurs in SU Taken With Teal and Pumpkin Pie onto some Authentique Gathering dp. Stamped the large circle image onto vanilla and layered. Added some seam binding from the Ribbon Carousel and silver halfback pearls from Pizzazaplenty.

This month is an inspiration pic... guess I love these colors (seeing as I  my WMS sketch this weekend uses the same colors!! Nope, done separately!!)

Here's the inspiration pic...
Thanks for stopping by!! Appreciate all the kind words!!

It's been a busy WE... honestly, I normally hang out in my "craft cave" and love it but, yesterday was spent looking at boats... yep, we're getting a boat!! Nothing fancy, nice, previous owner but, all the kids can tube and learn to ski!!

YEEE HAAAW!

I know, I know- if only I had the WMS set and a card to fit that sentiment, 'cause WMS has a set  here and it will be winging its' way to my house soon!! Y'all have convinced me I need it!!

Today is a special day for me-- I am the Guest Mischief  Maker at Waltzingmouse Stamps Weekly Sketch Challenge!!! No- I didn't pay them-LOL!! I have the privilege of playing along with all the Fabulous Mischief Makers for the next month... and I'm Thrilled!

This weeks' sketch is from Ms. Edna (yes I live in the South and we add things like Miss in front of names). The sketch is a versatile one and I know you'll love it!

I stamped the background panel and curved panel using stamps from Gingham & Co. Gingham always makes me smile and the reverse blue polka dots (haven't used that stamp and I love it!) is wonderful. Any flaws in stamping are mine- for a little shabby/homey (not the urban dictionary definition) feel. Flowers are Sewing Box Hugs stamped on MME papers several times, cut out and... popped on top of each other... and edges bent for a little dimension. Ruffle is gray taffetta ribbon from SU.

Ms. Ednas' sketch

It's your turn.... get out your WMS and get to stamping!! I'd love to see what you create!! Have been overwhelmed at work and not as much time to blog/comment but, one of my fav things to do is check out what everyone creates...

Thanks for stopping by!! Appreciate all the kind words!! Have a wonderful weekend... I'm thinking-hoping I will have some time to stamp/play!!

My card..

Used the blooms from Verves' Joyful Blossoms long with the dies to match. Sentiment is a Verve Plain Jane (PJ) that I adore--- especially since it fits my work life right now!! Scallop border was made with My Favorite Things scallop border die-namic. Added a seam binding bow with tails- seam binding from the Ribbon Carousel- (have fallen in love with this store- don't know what took me so long!)

Souhaits Sinceres WMS!!

English--- Hearty Wishes- All the Best-- fits wonderfully this week as the Mischief Makers at Waltzingmouse Sketch challenge - well, everyone at WMS - are celebrating the 100th sketch challenge!! There is a new blog image (it's adorable-you'll see in a "blog" minute!) and prizes to be won! This is one of my fav weekly challenges 'cause I LOVE ME some WMS!!

I made two cards this week....the first is my original card for the challenge and then, I have been trying to play in the CR84FN challenge and not getting my card posted in time- alas, decided to make a card in time and used the WMS sketch... it's a keeper!!

This card uses some of my fav WMS-- well, not all, just some, LOL!! The yellow background was stamped with a pattern from Gingham & Co. with Versamark and heat embossed with clear. That fabulous border is from French Country stamped in SU real red and heat embossed with clear. Circle element uses WMS Vintage Circles small, Gingham & Co. and a rooster from French Country. Black panel was paper pleated- tried to get a pic so it would show up better. Added some lace from the Ribbon Carousel and Divine Twine from The Cats Pajamas.

Second card... flipped the sketch.
For this card I stamped several doily images from WMS Large Doily in SU pale plum and certainly celery to make the background panel. Sentiment is from Aftenoon Tea Sentiments (perfectly fits my life at work right now-- not that I'm in hot water but-- work is hot water! The fleurs in the corners are also from WMS Afternoon Tea Sentiments-- Claire adds little ditties that come in handy!! Did some distressing, added lace and ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel, white button is SU, and sparkler with pearl is Websters Pages.

Now, you need to go here to see the details for the sketch challenge and the prizes to be had. You have until noon tomorrow!!

Here's the adorable new logo..

Don't you just love that "waltzing mouse"

Here's the sketch..

Here's the CR84FN colors..

Just realized the white should be gray... dang!! It was the inspiration so they need bit o' credit!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Appreciate all the kind words!!

The bottom button (layered on he wooden one) looks orange- can't get a pic to get the color- really it blends better. Sentiment is from Verve's Amazing Wishes. Here's the Verve connection.
