Warm Wishes!!

Happy Saturday!! I've been "knee deep" in working on Santa gifts- I'm sure I'm not the only one.. AND... working on the grocery list for Thanksgiving!!

In between, I had a chance to play with the Curtain Call Challenge using this week's Freshly Made Sketch....

Used stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn and Avery Elle. Added some snow with the SSS Falling snow stencil and modeling paste!! The picture is not exactly clear but, the snow hills are behind the focal panel and behind the fox - to meet the sketch layout!!

Have a great Sunday!! I'm off to do a little more crafting!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!

Color Throwdown # 369- Sending Hugs!!

Happy Hump Day!! Next week is Thanksgiving.... are you feeling the pressure.. I AM!! Love the holidays spending time with family and friends but, still have lots to do!! Cooking and otherwise...

Tammy picked the colors this week...

Burgundy, orange, and light green...

My green may be a little darker than the pic... lightest I had was SU certainly celery... brings back memories?? The flowers are PTI's Fall Florals and I used PTIs Sentiment Splits Curved Vertical die. Took the pic in a different orientation for me... wanted you to see the inside burgundy layer- just adds a little sumthin' sumthin'!

Viva la Verve!!

Hey, Happy Sunday!! I filled the WE doing laundry, stamping, cleaning, and working on the Christmas lists... even made a few ornaments... crafty, right?? Oh... and we did go out to eat one night with the girls and their "sweeties"!

Had some fun playing with another new set from Verve...Good Work and the coordinating Good Work Flower dies. Used the Viva la Verve week 2 sketch. Pretty straight forward copic coloring... no blending just a contrast of colors. Fabulous sentiment and love those flowers!!

Here's the sketch....

Color Throwdown #368- Like No One Elf!!

It's time for the weekly colors at The Color Throwdown!! This week Lori picked them out....

I had soo much fun playing with these colors and even tried the "no line" coloring for the first time.

Not too shabby for the first time... after a couple tries :) I messed up a couple of times... the first I just decided no striped pants....And when you really mess up... add a little sparkle, LOL!! Since I evened out the sparkle- you'll never know where the original goof happened!!

Eeek.... it's November... are you ready for Christmas... I'm definitely not!! Wow, time sure flies!! Sorry, had to get that out of my system!!

We're starting a new month on the Serendipity Challenge blog!! This month the challenge is to make a Holiday card!! Easy Peasy, right!!

Ready for our latest challenge?

SSCB#49 Happy Holidays! The holidays are creeping up fast! We're looking to see how you celebrate the season. Are you traditional? Will you add a little sparkle to your design? How about a flashback to your childhood? No matter how you celebrate the season we can't wait to see your projects. Just be sure to include at least one Serendipity Stamps image (stamp or die) to your project.

I wanted to get in at least one Thanksgiving card this year so I stamped the Harvest image onto XPress It blending cardstock and colored with copics. The panel was die cut with a Spellbinders deckled rectangle. Added a bow and some sparkle with my clear Wink of Stella. Close up below to show the shimmer.

The 50% off Stamp of the Month for November is Snowman Ice Skating.

Cas(e) this Sketch and SSS Wednesday challenge...Thanks!!

As I stated yesterday I had some time to stamp this weekend. Here's another card that I made for CAS(e) this sketch and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.... Thanks/Thanksgiving!!

I sponged some watercolor cardstock with various Distress inks and then die cut with PTI leaf print dies. The tag is from PTI also. Added a little twine bow and sentiment from Verve's Joyful Blooms.

Keep up the fight!!

Happy, Happy Sunday!! Hope you had a great weekend!! Me... I had a chance to stamp a little and play with some new goodies :)

I know it is now November but, I work in research so the fight for a cure is year round for me. Couldn't resist the chance to play with Verve's new Just Breathe set. Love the font on that sentiment. The gloves were stamped with Memento Tuxedo black onto XPress It blending cardstock and colored with copics. I then added crystal effects for the gloss (see below) but, before it was dry I added a die cut heart from Verve's From the Heart die set and added a little rhinestone. The pink background was stamped randomly with an image from Verve's Better Together and the flag was made with Verve's Flourished Tag die (just left the straight edge out of the plate to make it longer). Finished up with some pretty ribbon from Verve.

25 Days of ChristmasTags- with Tracey McNeely!!

Good Morning!! Hope your weekend is going well. Serendipity Stamps has the pleasure of being one of the sponsors for Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags!!

A few of the Serendipity DT are participating with Tracey to celebrate the upcoming holiday season!!

I LOVE making tags to decorate homemade gifts or packages.

For my tag I used Serendipity's Bells with Holly. Isn't it gorgeous... can you see all the detail in the image!! The image was stamped in versamark and heat embossed with silver-- a little shine at the holiday is always fun!! The images were watercolored in soft pink and blues. The tags are Stitched Duo # from Pretty Pink Posh- you can purchase these at Serendipity Stamps.

Now don't forget to hop on over to Tracey's blog!! There are prizes, just sayin' :)

Good Morning and welcome to this month's blog hop and new release at Serendipity Stamps!! Serendipity released one new die, a sentiment, and two new images this month!!
What a great day for a visit!

You should have arrived here from Mary's blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below. I have a couple cards to show you today.

First off is this sweet Snowman with Umbrella!! I played with my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers again.... still learning!!I stamped the image in Momento Tuxedo black ink and heat embossed with clear onto watercolor paper. Maybe should not do the clear heat embossing next time?

For the inside- I added the new Have Yourself sentiment stamped onto Cherry Lynn oval and stitched oval dies. I didn't add any other design or patterned paper so there would be room to write a personal message.

This cards uses the new Cottage house die. There are so many elements in this set- I didn't come close to using all of them. The background trees are Serendipity's Tall Tree Medium and Small and the sweet fence is from Pretty Pink Posh. You can find Pretty Pink Posh dies here at Serendipity Stamps. The sentiment die Seasons Greetings was released last month.

Here's a little close up so you can see the detail on this die. Click on the picture to enlarge.
