Enjoy Your Day

I love this Verve border image... it's from Fabulous You but, there are some...oops to confess to here!! One you will notice when you check out the sketch and one you will notice when I post the card!! Here's the deal... when I was flipping the sketch, I didn't flip the circle and sentiment in proportion {the ribbon, button, and twine should be below the rectangle image} and then, I didn't stand up and look down when I was adhering my panels {crook in neck trying to make that right upper corner come in line, LOL} but, I still like this card and I'm posting it!!!

Here's the sketch and inspiration pic from Amber {Verve's weekly sketchs and inspiration pics in their SCS forum}... tried to upload and "no go", sure it is operator error!!

Anywho... here's the card

Stamped the frame and sentiment in memento tuxedo black, colored the sentiment with SU marker, added Stampendous rhinestones {this also meets the HYCCT06 challenge to use Something Old -stampendous rhinestones, and Something New- Girls Paperie Toil and Trouble dp and Verve Fabulous You}. Sponged a little Tim Holtz distress ink around the edges of everything, ribbon is SU, and the twine is "divine" from The Cats Pajamas!!

Thanks for looking!!

Ingredients
Stamps: Verve Fabulous You and Big Wish
Paper: Girls Paperie Toil & Trouble, black, orange, and vanilla SU
Ink: vanilla, SU marker
Accessories: SU black ribbon, divine twine, button??, Stampendous bling

LOVE how you used the frame on this card, Vickie! Fabulous DP and card :) The striped twine is the perfect touch!

FYI, noticed that your posts say "no title" when I get them on Google Reader. Are you putting a title in the title box or just at the top of the post you are writing? If you just put it at the top of your typed post section it will come up "no title" on Reader. Curious minds must know LOL!

Really nice card! Just love the colors!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. The lace on my card is from Joanne's Fabric. My first craft was sewing and you can find lots of great ribbons and lace at the fabric store.
