And the final answer is....

I believe that is the question they ask on Jeopardy (honestly I could be quoting the wrong show as I am not a big TV watcher... love to read!!). How does that fit in.... well, I was working on the Waltzingmouse sketch this week and made one card and it just didn't "jive" ---you know, when you get ready to photograph and you think "it's just not working" so.... I made another card... my FINAL answer. It is very different than my normal style (i.e. no ribbon, stickpins, lace, many layers etc. etc.). Pretty much a CAS card... definitely stretched my wings and I'm sure there are many options I didn't think of but, here it is...

Used some new stamps from WMS... doily stamped in pirouette pink (WMS Large Doily set) underneath a cameo from WMS Cameo Maker (outline and image from this set) stamped and cut out with an oval nestie and popped on top. Added some score lines along the top and sides with my ScorBuddy, a sentiment from WMS Fancy Phrases, and some buttons with Divine Twine from the The Cats Pajamas for good measure. All layers popped up with foam dots from Jody Morrow (texasjodylynn on SCS).

Used the colors from the CR84FN33 challenge of red, pink, and a neutral.

The sketch...

The absolute fun of this was.... new goodies!! Just got my order from WMS and I used their new Cameo Maker set, Large Doily set (previous release), and one of my favs Fancy Phrases!! Oh Joy, Oh Joy!!! The first card used the Vintage labels 18 (been around but, new to me and let me just tell you--- they are gorgeous--borders that are compatible with the Spellbinders Label 18 dies... definitely addictive!!)

Blogger or my computer are getting "cranky", LOL!! Have been trying to add/fix a little and no cooperation... KWIM (could apply to kids, jobs, etc....)

If you stop by, leave a comment. Greatly appreciated and most welcome!! Tomorrow's Friday!!!!

You have done great on your CAS venture, Vickie :) The cameo pops out wonderfully. Even better that you got to use some new goodies to make the card :) Now you have me thinking about what show that was LOL! Believe the show is Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. Jeopardy you have to answer in the form of a question. regardless, great title and I knew exactly what you meant :)

Hoping things are settling down for you a bit. We have VBS this week so I am totally exhausted. 200 kids with boundless energy vs. an aging mom doesn't always make for a good combination after five days straight LOL! Been a blast through and I wouldn't trade the exhaustion for anything :)

I'll beg to differ from Marisa...I'm thinking it's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (Regis Philbin was the original host and he would always ask "Is that your final answer?". Whatever...your card is so classy and elegant! I just ordered from Waltzingmouse and didn't get the cameo. :-( There's always next time. Speaking of reading...I just read "The Help" by Kathryn Stockton over vacation last week and it's a great read! Highly recommend it!

This CAS card is excellent, Vickie! I love how you used the buttons and the cameo is just perfectly stamped. A very striking design with these colors!

I just love it! The simple elegance of your card shines throughout. The combination of both challenges is super. Didn't see your card on the CR84FN blog - but thanks for playing!
