Wishing You...

Peace and Plenty!! What a wonderful sentiment! This card is for this week's WMS sketch challenge. Ms. Kelly designed the sketch this week and it's a good one! I have some Canadian friends that will be celebrating their Thanksgiving this weekend and, this is what I wish for you!

Stamped this image from WMS Peace & Plenty onto XPress It and colored with copics. Changed the square panel to a labels 18, embossed and traced the inside line. The houndstooth pattern is from WMS Heirloom Patterns... think it works fabulously with the image for a cozy holiday feel!! Added the sentiment, buttons, and lavender saddle stitched ribbon.... 'kay I did purple twice on this card.... if you know me or have happened upon a color challenge that I participated in... you would know that "purple" is my nemesis!!

Here's Kelly's sketch...

PS... moved the ribbon lower on the image... it just worked for my card.

Thanks for stopping by!! Appreciate when you stop by and leave a sweet comment!!

This is beautiful Vickie! Love your expert coloring on this wonderful harvest image. Your purple ribbon is such a great choice to pull out the purple in your grapes. Fabulous job!

Love the bold, vibrant colors of those gorgeous fruits...
and they look incredible against the houndstooth background!
I think I use Heirloom Patterns even MORE than Off Beat...
and I never thought I would say that! :)
It's fabulous! :)

That coloring is GORGEOUS, Vickie, and I think the purple totally makes this card...and those cute fruity buttons just popping off the white background. You made the sketch come alive (in a beautiful way, not a skeery Halloween kinda way ;))
