enjoy the little things- Verve Diva Dare and week 2 sketch!!

Had a little time to stamp last night- work has been crazy busy!! Had fun using Moe's sketch to create a card for the Verve Diva Dare. (Ssshh...I'm even early this month!!) This month it's all about Andrea and Chirstyne-- lots of layers and either a flower cluster or something sweet.

Lots of layers (to me) means an opportunity to use some patterned paper... and... these girls like patterned paper too!! Sentiment is from Verve's Let it Be and the papers are Glitz Cashmere Dame.

Here's the sketch...

Tonite I'm hoping to get a little stamping in... along with making a couple of salads (family requested) for a cookout tomorrow after hanging at the lake. Hope your WE is going well!! I haven't been able to visit much this week--oh to one day be able to retire!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!

You rocked the layers in deed and well done on the flower cluster! I just love that sentiment too :) Enjoy your day on the lake -- soo good to hear the weather is allowing you to do so :) Kids and I are off camping with friends this week with no internet so I won't be around till after we get back.

Love, love, love this! The bouquet is absolutely gorgeous. I just finished a card using this sketch, but it is masculine---not my strong suit. Like flowers and bows much better! Thanks for sharing your work!

Beautiful! Love the collection of flowers around your sentiment. :)

Did you recently redo your blog? I love the design, pretty, yet nice and simple. :)
