Think wedding... sympathy... elegant birthday/thinking of you/hello... really anything goes!! The DT was asked to add a little "twist" to the challenge and make something to "pick our personality"
Originally I started with a whole different sentiment but, when I started making the card... I went in this direction (it fits me well also!!)
"Kay this first one was done with some haphazard Viva Décor dots.... I like it- a little something different for me anyway... stretching those wings I tell ya"
I LOVE to read... seriously!! When we moved to this house and I finally decided I had to give up my hardback books... space waster (house was larger- just coming to grips with the whole electronic world)... we donated 18 boxes to the local library... found the kindle :) One of the best Xmas presents Bill every gave me. I read at least every night...
So this set is perfect for my "other addiction"
Here's the inside..
I used Serendipity Stamps Books {063QCL}
Hope you find time to join us, and...
The rules are simple... play along using at least one Serendipity Stamps image on your submission and add some stitches. You don't have to have a blog to play along - you can link your designs to any on line gallery.

Vickie, you are too funny! Great idea to use the Books stamp and love the direction you took with it! It looks wonderful in the gray tones and your dies and embellishments are always fabulous!
Your shading on the books is beautiful. So which one did you like better? The decor dots add so much drama and elegance to the card. I like them both. Pretty die cuts, fancy button, what's not to love here?
What a wonderful card, Vickie! Love your stack of books and your shading is beautiful. I'm totally with you on the reading and I had to do the same thing when we moved. But I do love reading them on my iPad!
Great card and love the tones you used! I too love my Kindle - though it does keep me up late many a night LOL! Great idea to donate books to a library!
I still love both ipad books and real books! When I float in the pool it has to be real. I don't get to do that so much anymore:)
Love the book stamp and beautiful design. Who knew shades of gray could look so good!
