Happy July 4th eve!! The DT at Serendipity Stamps is having a blog hop and ohhh.... we have some fun stuff-n-things to show you!!! I have several cards today so, I hope you are patient!!
You should have arrived here from Miriam's blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below.
For my first card I played with the Poker Chip die and the new sentiment When the Chips You Can Count on Me....this sentiment comes both horizontal and circle. Here's a little close up...
Here's the full card...
Quick story- I grew up in the Midwest and I have to say playing cards is definitely a winter past time. One of our (hubs and I) games of choice is euchre. My DH and I would partner and he would bid wild- not my suit, opposite color, large number of tricks- you get the idea!! More times than not- we would make our bid- why... because he would count on his partner to know what he was going to do and bail him out!! So, as I was making this card that is what I was thinking about :)
My next card uses the sweet Piggy and another new sentiment Heard You Were Out...
Here's a little close up of my next card. I wanted to show you the pattern I created on my jeans. After coloring with copics, take a piece of an old pair of blue jeans, wet with copic colorless blender and press down on the jeans. What you end up with is that pattern. Fun, huh!!
Here's the full card using the new Cowgirl, Howdy Die, and the paper stars are from the Bandanna die.
Final card was just a little whimsy... may have gotten carried away with the splatter and enamel dots. This card uses the US Map and new sentiment Sending Smiles.
Special: Sale is free shipping on all US orders of $15 or more Contental US only. Stamp of the month is Winter Doe
Leave comments through Sunday July 5 for a chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to SS. Mary will announce a winner on her blog on Monday July 6.

If you got lost along the way, here's the full hop list.
Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!

Such fun cards, Cathy x
Wow! These are all so amazing! Love the colors and the beautiful coloring techniques!
So many great projects. Love the idea of the chips are down.
All these great cards really showcase your creativity, Vickie! The trick of using the jeans to add detail to the cowgirl's jeans is exceptional!
Fabulous and fun collection of cards Vickie!
Great cards. Thanks for the creative ideas.
Each and every one of your cards is great in it's own way. Love the colors on the poker chips. I cannot resist smiling at the pig. Love how you used a patterned background and the picked up the gray and green. Your trick of adding jean texture to the jeans is great. I will have to try that. I love the last card...simple but the message stands out so well on the vellum. Your coloring on you images...great. Nice designs. TFS
Love that map card! It's my very favorite I've seen so far!
All so very nicely done! Lots of inspiration here! Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful cards. I love the card with the chips. I like to play the slots (don't use chips anymore)
but I love the idea of the chips. We play cards in the family so this will be a winner.
the little cowgirl is colored so great.
thanks for sharing some wonderful cards.
I was LOL about your Euchre story - TFS :) Darling set of cards. Fabulous colouring on the little cowboy! We are cooking to death up here as it is abnormally hot and no AC. Lots of trips to the mall to cool down and thankful to work in AC LOL! Hope you are enjoying the boat and the water :)
Wonderful projects. I really love the sentiment that goes with the chips card. TFS
Wow Vickie so many wonderful cards! Each one a work of art! Love the map card!
These are all fabulous, Vickie! You really outdid yourself with these! The papers & colors are all wonderful.
Oh Vickie! You made so many gorgeous cards! I don't know where to start. Yes! We play lots of cards - pinochle is the game in our house, sounds very similar to your Euchre. You made these chips so colorful and fun I love them. The little piggy is colored up beautifully and I love the buttons and twine.. The cowgirl is cute as a button, and yep.. love the map too with the vellum sentiment. Love that you colored in your state! Great idea! Always a delight here!
