Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog- Backgrounds!!

Good Wednesday Morning!! Can you believe it is September... this summer just went too fast!! We have finally cooled off here in the Carolinas with some high 80's to low 90's temps and few nights in the high 60's- sure feels good!!

SSCB#47 -  Backgrounds!  This week we're asking you to put away the patterned paper and create your own background.  There are so many popular techniques - watercolor, multiple stamped images, distress - the choice is yours - any theme - any occasion - just make sure you include at least one Serendipity Stamps image on your design!!

I played with another image from the Autumn Pops set- LOVE!! I stamped the flowers with versamark and heat embossed with gold. Then I colored them with my Zig Clean Color Brush Makers- the colors are so bright in real life!! I'm having a camera battery issue tonight!!

I added the sentiment using the new Autumn die- aren't those leaves on the tips fun!!

Our favorite design will receive our winner blog badge and one random winner of this challenge will receive a $20 discount off their next order from Serendipity Stamps. You have until midnight US Eastern Standard Time on October 5 to link your project. The winner and our next challenge will be posted on October 7.

Want to go shopping? The 50% off Stamp of the month for September is the Japanese Maple (shown above).

This is like a breath of sunshine Vickie! Bright Bold colors. I saw the embossing and wondered how you colored it. Embossing is not so copic friendly (in my opinion). I just ordered the zig markers and was wondering how they will be different (havent gotten them yet) - anxious to try them on embossed images now. Yours is stunning - so bright and warm! You captured a summer day here!
