Good, Good Morning welcome to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog Hop!! Sorry, I missed the first post this month- life got a little busy and I got a little behind!!
Love seeing what you make with your Serendipity Stamps and Dies. The challenge begins on the first of the month with a central theme. The design team provides samples for inspiration at the beginning, and then again at the half way point of the challenge, but you get a whole month to join us! At the half way point we'll be showing another round of samples as well as celebrating with a monthly blog hop - showing you the latest products and offering another chance for you to win some goodies from Serendipity Stamps.
You should have arrived here from Carol's blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below.
Now we're at the halfway point!!
The rules are simple... play along using at least one Serendipity Stamps image on your submission and link it below. You don't have to have a blog to play along - you can link your designs to any on line gallery.
This month it is all about leaving it bare!! I don't know about you but, this took some thinking on my part!!
So I took the Postoid Cling set- 4 images- and stamped several of the images on white cardstock in black and fussy cut them out and layered onto a white cardstock panel. For some color I created a reddish base and layered with coral. The Hello die was cut three times with the top layer sponged in the red/pink colors and popped up with foam dots. Added a little twine to finish it off- ya' know I am addicted to twine :-)
A little close up of the Hello die... layers were sponged, black, and then white- all offset a little.
The Postoid Cling set the the 50% off Stamp of the month...
For my next card I used the Hot Air Balloons reverse di,e cutting and layering with patterned paper. I die cut it again just getting the "clouds" with a complimentary piece of patterned paper and pieced those. Then is stamped one of the new Speech Bubbles- added the sentiment from Uplifting Words and fussy cut out. This was adhered with foam dots for some dimension.
Last card... not sure this counts for a bare image :-)
I watercolored a panel using some rich fall colors... stamped the Wine Vertical Image using espresso ink...
Heat embossed with clear....
Sentiment inside... Live Each Season
Next up is my sweet friend Jeanne Jachna --- as always, it's sure to be bright and beautiful!!
Here's the full hop list!!

A trio of gorgeous cards, Vickie! The black/white postage stamp panel, paired with the inked sentiment, is striking; the balloons, with their patterned background and 'cloud' sentiment, is so pretty; the sponged background and Wine sentiment, eye-catching! Fabulous 'leave it bare' showcases that see my spirits brightened!

Awesome cards! Love the way you "added" color to the balloon diecut card.
Fantastic cards. Love the stamp background.
Beautiful cards-LOVE the balloon card (going on my wish list). Thanks for sharing
Wow!! your cards are wonderful! : ) I just love the colors of each one!! The watercoloring you did on your WINE card is delightful - just like someone spilled the Vino! : )

Awesome projects. Love the color combination of your firs card. The red accents are perfect for your black and white images.
Fantastic! Love the black and white "wallpaper" of postoids matched with the bright red Hello (love the theme of those postoids). Your pairing of the balloons with that fun DP is perfect and your "splash" of color with the Wine image is a great "pairing" too!
They are all beautiful Vickie! I love the ombre color on the word die and the background on the last card is amazing!
Gorgeous. Love the tessellated postal stamps and those beautiful balloons. Hugz
Such fun cards!
Your cards are great! Love the wine card - looks like it could have been stamped on a napkin with spilled wine. :)
Wow--lots of great cards. I like how you used the postoid stamps on the first one.

All of your cards are beautiful but my favorite is the one that says WINE! Love it and the great color blend too!
Three beautiful cards Vickie. I love the montage of postage stamp images and that beautiful red and pink in the background and the die cut sentiment, and the balloons look great with the patterned paper and the blue for the clouds in the background, and lastly the word 'Wine' with the pretty wine coloured inks which highlight it perfectly. x
Fabulous designs.
Beautiful cards! Love the hot air balloons!
