Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop and Challenge!!

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge! We love seeing what you make with your Serendipity Stamps and Dies. The challenge begins on the first of the month with a central theme. The design team provides samples for inspiration at the beginning, and then again at the half way point of the challenge, but you get a whole month to join us! At the half way point we'll be showing another round of samples as well as celebrating with a monthly blog hop - showing you the latest products and offering another chance for you to win some goodies from Serendipity Stamps

It's the halfway point, and... Mary gives the DT an extra challenge- this month it is a "Welcome" theme!!

The rules are simple... play along using at least one Serendipity Stamps image on your submission. You don't have to have a blog to play along - you can link your designs to any on line gallery.

You should have arrived here from Carol's blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below.

SSCB#61 Texture!!!! Easy peasy, right!! There are so many ways to add texture to a card- distressing, ribbon, twine, glitter, enamel dots, sequins.... you get the idea!! Whatever you choose just be sure to include at least one Serendipity Stamps image (stamp or die) on your design!

Here's my card... I only have one this month. Hubs had a big ole' clot (DVT in the medical world- short for deep vein thrombosus) that slowed me down a little... dang, that man!!

I played with a few Serendipity goodies for this one. The trees were created using three different Serendipity tree stamps stamped in different greens for the background. Stamped the cottage, colored with copics and fussy cut to make a winter scene. Don't you love that Welcome die! Added some wood sequins from Serendipity and twine for the "texture".

Want to go shopping? The stamp of the month for October is the  Snowperson with Wreath (50% off- can't beat that!)

And there is always a prize.... $20 gift certificate to one commenter randomly selected from all the blogs.    Hoppers can leave comments through 11-20 The winner will be announced on Mary's blog on 11-21.

The sale this time is 20% off in the Autumn and Halloween categories - no coupon required.  Sale good through 11-21.

Looking for some more inspiration....

Next up is my sweet friend Jeanne Jachna --- as always, it's sure to be bright and beautiful!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!
