Gorgeous inspiration pic and perfect for this time of year!!
I went a little "haywire" and did something more "springish", I'm resisting the change....love fall but, then there is WINTER, LOL!!
Playing with Papertrey Ink's Doodlie Do stamp set and dies.
Had planned on more stamping time this WE than I got...it was WCMD on Saturday....spent Saturday afternoon in the ER- my youngest cut her hand on a glass at work and needed a few stitches (inside and out)... always takes longer than you would wish... geesh, I'm a nurse and work at the hospital but, those dang ER waiting times are a "PIA"!! Close to the wrist and bone but, she's doing well.
My orange is a bit darker in the photo than the inspiration pic but, it actually is orange. The flower was watercolored and added some Viva Decor pearl accents.
Our Guest Designer this month...Tara Godfrey from Inking on the Edge - this girl knows how to layer and embellish!!

So pretty Vickie. Love the beautiful flowers and the background with the different strips.
Fabulous use of the colours! L ove the stripes and funflower.
Glad your daughter's boo-boo is healing well. Yes...Emergency and I have a love/hate relationship (gald they can help mom but he waits suck!).
Love those stripes and so glad you interpreted the colors into a more springy creation! I did the same and just really hate to let go of those summer flowers! Dang, that stinks that your daughter had to go to the ER! They are famous everywhere for long waits...unless you go in with Afib chest discomfort. Ask me how I know - lol!
Love this beauty, Vickie....the flowers are sooo pretty and I love the stripes in the background!!! Sorry about your daughter's hand...hope it heals quickly!!!! I can't even count the number of ER visits I have made with my parents, children, hubs....I always grab a book, granola bars, and a jacket before we head out the door!!!
What a great design! Love the multicolored striped background. Hope your daughter is healing well. ER visits are no fun!
I love those stripes, Vickie! Such a cheerful card! So sorry about your daughter's ER visit--sorry about the stitches AND the wait.
Beautiful card and I love how you used that die, just stunning.
