Good Wednesday Morning!! Can you believe it is almost the end of September... Halloween is just around the corner!! We have finally cooled off here in the Carolinas with some high 70's to low 60's temps and the leaves are starting to turn!!
SSCB#47 - Backgrounds! This month we're asking you to put away the patterned paper and create your own background. There are so many popular techniques - watercolor, multiple stamped images, distress - the choice is yours - any theme - any occasion - just make sure you include at least one Serendipity Stamps image on your design!!
This time I went "full on" fall and used the Japanese Maple stamp. First I created a watercolored background and then stamped the maple leaf in SU Soft Suede. I added the new Blessings die cut for the sentiment- layering in three colors. Lastly, I added some wood grain sequins that are sold in the Serendipity store.
Here's a little close up of the stamp, sequins, and layered sentiment.
Want to go shopping? The 50% off Stamp of the month for September is the Japanese Maple (shown above).
We have a very special guest this month! Say hello to Diane Jaquay of It's All About the Art blog! I think you're going to love Diane's style!
Here's the link to the challenge with all the details. AND here's the link to the What's New page at Serendipity Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!
