Color Throwdown #434

Good Morning- Happy, Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another set of colors at the Color Throwdown!! This week the colors were chosen by Amy Rohl.

This week we're playing with green, black, and gold.

Yep, perfect card and perfect colors for a St. Patty's week!!

So, I have a little Irish in my family and grew up when I was young in the Chicago area... did you know they die the river green for St. Patty's.... yes, there are a lot of Irish Catholics around Chicago!!

And, yes, I had to make one more St. Patty's card. Watercolored the background and splashed some gold paint on top. The panel was cut with a new Serendipity card die- also the shamrock. Sentiment is from a Verve set.

Some inspiration...

Such a fun card, Vickie! Love that background. And my boys would be yelling... the clubs, the clubs, we LOVE the clubs! Apparently we haven't used the word shamrock very often, and they love playing Solitaire, so they're so excited to see all the "green clubs" decorations right now. :)
