you are the bestest-- CAS(e) this sketch

So, I was blessed with a little extra time this WE and decided to play with CAS(e) this sketch.

The sketch....

Isn't that fun.

I went pretty straightforward with it and use some Altenew stamps that have been needing to see inking :-)

It's bright I know... gotta love a little brightness when you are looking forward to spring!!
The images are from Altenew's Floral Shadow and were stamped randomly. Next I die cut the center, added the sentiment and adhere with foam dots for dimension.

I don't know if you can see in this pic but, instead of just using the black striped background around the edges I used a large piece so you can see the stripes under the popped up oval.. fun!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!

All Things Grow With Love- SFYTT

Happy Sunday- hope you are enjoying the day and relaxing a little!! Today I have a card for the current SFYTT sketch.

Here's the sketch....

Here's my card...

I played with a few Reverse Confetti goodies for this one. The background was die cut with grout gray cardstock using the Linked Circles Cover panel and layered onto a PTI select white A2 card base. Next I cut a gray panel and covered it with  Circles and Scallops confetti cuts. The sentiment is from Love Blooms and the sweet flower and leaves are from Blooms n Buds stamps and dies.

Color Throwdown # 431

Good Morning- Happy, Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another set of colors at the Color Throwdown!! This week the colors were chosen by Wanda.

This week we're playing with green, mint green, plum, and light brown.

Don't you just love cactus!!

I pulled out my MFT LLD Sweet Succulents and coordinating die-namics for this card. I wanted a lattice type background but, didn't have a die for that, then I realized I had a MFT Moroccan Lattice stencil. I mixed some light brown paint with modeling pasted and applied randomly through the stencil. While that was drying I die cut the pots and cactus. I tried my hand at copic coloring some pink/plum cacti to no avail :-(   soo... the pots became plum and green cacti it was!!

Some inspiration...

Color Throwdown #430

Good Morning- Happy, Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another set of colors at the Color Throwdown!! This week the colors were chosen by Wanda.

This week we're playing with sage green, teal, gold, and chocolate.

Isn't that pot gorgeous!!

Played with MFT's Fall Florals and coordinating die-namics. I am on a roll to ink up sets that have been sitting around for a while and this is one of them!!! The background is MFT's Brick Wall Cover-Up (die cut and then adhered a large adhesive panel cut to size so that the "bricks" would still be in place). I know my teal and sage don't show as much contrast in the pic but, they are two different colors IRL!

Color Throwdown #428

Good Morning- Happy, Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another set of colors at the Color Throwdown!! This week the colors were chosen by Lori - we're playing with some soft colors and I love them!!

This week we're playing with red, pink, chocolate, and white.

Okay, I love this pic and the colors are fabulous!! Perfect for a sweet Valentine's card.. or at least that's what I thought ;-)

Played with MFT's Birdie Brown's Ewe are the Best... isn't that sheep sweet!! I diecut a panel with MFT's wonky rectangle die-namics and then stamped the little hill and sentiment. The sheep and windmill were stamped onto PTI select white cardstock with chocolate brown ink and colored with copics. To make the sheep's fur- I colored with copics and then, added a few drops of copic colorless blender onto a piece of a washcloth and placed over the copic coloring.

The design team will be showing you the latest products and offering a chance for you to win some goodies from Serendipity Stamps.

You should have arrived here from Carol's blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below.

I have a couple cards for you today...

I enjoyed playing with the Fun Hearts cling set... this is also the 50% off stamp this month!! The heart was stamped and then fussy cut out and popped on top of a diagonal card base. The love you sentiment was added to the side.

The layout is this week's CAS(E) this sketch...

And.. I played along with this week's Inspired by All the Little Things... (hearts and colors but, I substituted gold for the burlap)

Here's my next card still playing with Serendipity's Fun Hearts cling set...

I used my misti to stamp two of the hearts onto a white panel with a little patterned paper at the bottom. The Serendipity Love die was cut three times, layered, and popped up with microdots for a little dimension.

Added a sentiment on the inside... those little hearts are the "pop outs" from the Love die. Isn't that fun!!
