Pinkfresh Studio December Challenge meets Color Throwdown #723

Happy, Happy Wednesday!!

It's time for another Color Throwdown challenge. AND... I'm playing in the Pinkfresh Studio December challenge- all about Holidays!!

Please join us at the Color Throwdown!!

This week the colors were chosen by Broni!!

This week we're playing with gold, pink, and light blue.

I played with Pinkfresh Studio goodies. The background was gold foil embossed with the Quadrant Backdrop hot foil and layered on a gold panel. I hot foiled the ornaments-Ornaments hot foil and stenciled with ballet slipper and sky blue inks. The ornaments were then cut with the coordinating die. Some ornaments were glued flat and some adhered with foam for added dimension. Lastly, the sentiment from the coordinating stamp set was gold embossed, die cut, and popped up with tiny foam dots.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper-crafted project, add a direct link to your creation using the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of the Color Throwdown post. Pinkfresh Studio November Challenge

Playing along in PFS monthly challenge for November... this month is all about texture.

I chose to play with Life is Good- a PFS and Scrapbook.com collaboration (stamp, stencil, and die).

First, I gold embossed the floral image and then, used the coordinating stencils to ink blend. Love me some PFS stencils!!! The colors I chose are close to the picture on the package- thought they were perfect for this time of year. Next, the Elongated Lattice Cover plate was adhered to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 piece of cardstock and then adhered to an A2 fold base using foam backing. The sentiment  from My Favorite Things to Say 2 stamped in black, layered on a gold base, and popped up for dimension. Lastly, I added a few gold pearls

A little close up to see the gold embossing.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Pinkfresh Studio October challenge

Playing along in PFS monthly challenge for October... this month is all about leaves.

Gave me an opportunity to play with the Fall Leaf Border stencils again.

I used some of the colors in the graph for my card. Love these bold colors with this set. Sentiment is from the Simply Sentiments You stamp set and the Sentiment Suite: You die set. The "You" was die cut three times and layered for dimension. My colors were chosen from the graphic above.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Pinkfresh Studio June Challenge

Good Day!! Today I have a card for the Pinkfresh Studio August Monthly challenge.

I finally had a chance to play along!! This month's challenge was to create a background. I used the Ornate Medallions coverplate for my background and backing it with purple cardstock. Next, I stenciled the Folk Floral Stem and then stamped over it with the Folk Floral Stem stamp to get the black outline. I die cut the Folk Floral Stem with the matching die and adhered to the card front with foam dots for a little dimension. The sentiment is from the Heart Smiles stamp set and was die cut with the matching die

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Pinkfresh Studio Challenge

Good Day!! Today I have a card for the Pinkfresh Studio February Monthly challenge. This is the second time I have made a card for the challenge.... but, the first time getting it entered in time :-)

I fell in love with the colors and that was the inspiration for my card.

I played with old and new products. The background was created with the fairly new coverplate die Sparkling Diamonds. Then I hot foiled the Folk Garden foil plate in gold... gorgeous!! I am definitely loving hot foiling. Once it was hot foiled I used the coordinating stencils to add the colors from the inspiration photo... Coral Reef, Candy Apple, Mermaid Cove, and Aquamarine. Next, I die cut the image with the coordinating die and adhered to the Sparkling Diamonds cover plate. The sentiment is from the Fancy Scripts hot foil plate and coordinating die. I am fairly new to Pinkfresh Studio and I love the coordinating products.

Here's a pic so you can see the gorgeous gold foiling....

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Altenew Inspiration Challenge

Good Friday evening. Hope you had a great week and plans for fun/relaxing through the weekend.

I have not posted to my blog for a while.... crazy busy!! AND.... I have not created a card for fun in a long, long time!!

Recently Altenew had a sale on the Watercolor Coloring Book with the 12 pan set.

I already have the 36 pan set but, wanted to practice my watercoloring and thought the Watercolor Coloring book would be the perfect avenue!

Also thought I would submit my first practice to Altenew's Inspiration Challenge.

So, I wrote down pink, yellow, and green for the colors....

As you can see, I did use those colors but, they are a little off from the inspiration picture.

Oh well, I did enjoy working with the Watercolor Coloring Book. I have one more image that I will post in the next few weeks and several more in the book to play with. I have to admit- I threw one in the garbage :-)

Hoping you are healthy and safe!!
