Color Throwdown #482

Good Morning- Happy, Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another set of colors at the Color Throwdown!! This week the colors were chosen by Amy Rysavvy !!

This week we're play with pink, kraft, and gray.

My kraft is a little on the light side :-)

I had a little fun with some Neat and Tangled goodies!! I did a pink wash background and then added some gray with a Neat and Tangled stencil. The "donut girl" was stamped, die cut, and colored with copics. The kraft is the outside of the donut.

My colors may be a little on the light side :-)

I had a little fun with some MFT goodies!! My Story stamps and dies. The rug is from a Christmas set... Merry Christmoose (retired). A little masking and two images stamped and die cut- popped on top for a little dimension (lamp shade and that sweet kittie)!

Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop February #2

Oh my word.... It's the end of February... I am so busy with life right now!! Can't believe the month is almost gone!! My family is coming in this WE for a baby shower (flying in from IN).... yikes!! My youngest has a little coming- it's been a bit of a rocky road- she (Willow Grace) has a congenital heart defect and will need open heart surgery. BUT.. this WE we are celebrating with a Baby Shower!!

Having the opportunity to stamp once in a while is my sanity!!! Have you ever felt that way?!?!

It's time for the Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop! We're changing it up this year- there will be two hops each month as usual and there will be opportunities to win $ to purchase Serendipity Stamps. The design team will be showing you the latest products and offering a chance for you to win some goodies from Serendipity Stamps.

You should have arrived here from Julie Warner's blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below.

So, I played with this month's stamp of the month (50% off folks- just sayin') Judy's Easter Basket

Here's a little close up. the image was stamped onto PTI Select white cardstock and colored with copics. Added some crystal accents for a little glimmer on those eggs. The sentiment is the Happy die- die cut several times and layered for a little dimension.

I even had a chance to finish off the inside- I love to do this but recently haven't had time.

It's fun to add a little something on the inside- I place it on the lower half of the card so there's room for a personal message!

Looking for some awesome inspiration?

AND... there are always prizes. One random comment along the hop will receive a $20 gift code to the Serendipity Stamps store. You have from today until Sunday to leave your comments. Mary will announce the winner on the Serendipity Stamps blog on Monday!!

AND...

Serendipity will be offering Free Shipping on all US orders of $25 or more from Wed 2/21 through Sun 2/24.
Have a great day... hugs, Vickie!!

Color Throwdown #480

Good Morning- Happy, Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another set of colors at the Color Throwdown!! This week the colors were chosen by Wanda !!

How.s that for a bright color palette- lilac, green, and gray!!

I had a little fun with some (new to me) Altenew goodies!! The background is a stencil that I lightly sponged with gray ink selectively. Then I die cut the flowers and leaves from watercolor paper and colored with my zigs.

Some inspiration...

Serendipity Stamps February Blog Hop- #1

Oh my word.... It's the first of February... I am so busy with life right now!! Having the opportunity to stamp once in a while is my sanity!!! Have you ever felt that way?!?!

You should have arrived here from Julie Warner's blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below.

So I played with Serendipity's Toadstool with Violets - I was in an orange mood so the flowers aren't violets :-) I stamped the image onto a die cut stitched panel and then colored with copics. I don't usually color nature images- it was fun for a first try (maybe need to practice a little). This was mounted onto patterned paper to add a little something, something. Lastly, I added the Hello die (die cut several times and layered offset for a little hint of color).
