Colo Throwdown #503

Good Morning- Happy, Happy Wednesday!!

It's time for another set of colors at the Color Throwdown!! This week the colors were chosen by Broni!!

This week we're playing with red, green, and gray!

So I played with a Stacy Yakula image for Purple Onion Designs!! I love these sweet images. This one I bought recently but, I have some others in my stash that need some love!! This sweet mouse was stamped on PTI Select white cardstock with Altenew gray ink and colored with copics. I think I need to feel a little more adventurous with darkening the critter colors :-)

This week we're playing with cobalt blue, aqua, gray, and white!

So I played with some Avery Elle stamps and dies (have been in my stash for a while and needed some love)! The background underwater plants are from MFT. Ha- these fishies look a little rough :-) The sentiment on the inside says... "That Bites"

Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop- July #1

First, Happy Happy July 4th to all the US stampers out there. I will be hanging at the pool tomorrow with my youngest daughter, youngest granddaughter, and hubs!! Hope you enjoy your day and any celebrations you have planned!!

It's time for the Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop! We're changing it up this year- there will be two hops each month as usual and there will be opportunities to win $ to purchase Serendipity Stamps. The design team will be showing you the latest products and offering a chance for you to win some goodies from Serendipity Stamps.

You should have arrived here from Marybeth Lopez blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below. I have a clean and simple card for you today.

So, this image is all in one.... It's Five O'Clock Fun image for summer (well, depending all year 'round) I stamped the image with Versamark black ink and colored with copics. When creating a CAS card you can add little elements to give it a little sumthin' sumthin'

For this card I added a wonky frame, popped it up on the base with foam, and added crystal effects (glassy effect to the glasses- you can's see it the pic but, IRL it looks good). Other ideas may be to add some twine, glitter on the rims of a couple of the glasses, sequins, liquid applique for foam on the beer mug etc. etc.

For the inside I added this Rest, Relax sentiment- perfect for a little summertime libation :-)
