Happy Birthday!!

Haven't had much time to stamp recently but, I was able to finish a card. WhooHoo!! Card withdrawal.... don't act like you don't understand... I KNOW you do, LOL!! Used Stacey's Curtain Call Colors {cajun craze, more mustard, pumpkin pie, very vanilla}.... wondered about these when I first saw them as they are so close together but, honestly it's a wonderful combination!! Used the FTL sketch #112 {sentiment not in upper right hand corner but, by the image...hope that's okay!!}

Exciting news to me... I signed up for a copics coloring class- this Saturday in Greensboro, NC. Suzanne J. Dean is teaching-just a jaunt 1 1/2 hours each way!!! One of my goals from a year ago {New Years!!} was to take a copic class. Up EARLY on Sat. am to leave by 7:15... right now, I'm thinking YIKES for a Sat. am!! I am excited though as I really, really need help!

Enough of that... here's the colors

Here's my card....
Stamped an outline flower in more mustard from Verve's Great Friends set  and used the CB folder swiss dots on the bg panel behind {they seem to be "go to's for me right now!!}- sentiment from Verve's Big Wish set. Pumpkin Pie is only the prima flower but.... I matched it up... perfect!! Used SU's sizzlets leaves with cajun craze, burlap is a scavenge hunt-- wanted some natural fibers and found a kit I had hanging around {actually meant to buy some burlap but, no time--ain't got no time...} Linen thread from The Cat's Pajamas and wooden button from My Favorite Things!!

TFL!!   LOVE when you stop by and leave comments!!

Isn't this colour combo delicious. I just made a card with it as well :) Love the flower and leaves and the stamped Verve image in the BG. Enjoy your Copics course :)

Wow, that is awesome! When I read the combo without seeing your card I was skeptical but now I'm a believer! Love that flower focal point with the burlap and red leaves. Very striking! And I'm jealous about you taking a Copics class! I live in NJ and you would think with me being only 1 & 1/2 hrs from NYC that there would be a class close to me, but NO! You'll have to dazzle us with coloring when you get back. Looking forward to it!
