CTD #288 -- hello!!

Yes... it's Wednesday and a short week....

The Color Throwdown colors and inspiration photo this week are brought to us by Melody!

Scrumptious colors...

Here's my card...

Had fun watercoloring and stenciling!! When I went away with my friends for the WE- stamping friends- there's always some enabling and inspiration going on- oh, and it's the perfect atmosphere for shopping!! The flowers and hello die are the result of an early am WPlus9 {new release} shopping spree on the iPad. Stamped MFT's MPD Distressed Background image onto watercolor paper and added some texture/dimension with SSS Falling Snow Stencil using modeling paste. The flowers and leaves were colored with ink using a watercolor brush and then spritzed with water.

WE have two Featured Star Stampers joining us this week- Happy to have you!!

Sandy Matthis at Stamp With Sandy and Jane Howden at... Scrap Pieces of Me

Continuing to join us this month as the Guest Designer is my sweet, sweet, friend Jeanne Jachna from A Kept Life!! So glad you're playing along!

For more inspiration, you'll want to stop by and visit the other team members' blogs.

Remember, if you don't have the exact colors, use whatever you have that's close...the color police won't come after you--this is all about having fun!  If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD288.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.

When you are finished with your creation, head over to the Color Throwdown blog to add your entry to the Inlinkz tool.

Thanks for stopping by!! Love when you do and appreciate all the kind words!!

I really have to jump aboard the modeling paste bandwagon! This is such a beautiful example of what can be done with it. Lovely, lovely card. Such soft use of the colors, too. Thanks for having me on your blog this week, Vickie!
