It's time for the Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop! We're changing it up this year- there will be two hops each month as usual and there will be opportunities to win $ to purchase Serendipity Stamps. The design team will be showing you the latest products and offering a chance for you to win some goodies from Serendipity Stamps.
You should have arrived here from Marybeth Lopez's blog but, if you got lost along the way I have a full list below. I have a couple of cards for you today.
I played with the Lilacs stamp for my first card (50% off stamp of the month). It was stamped onto PTI select white cardstock, colored with copics, and I added a little shimmer with a wink of Stella pen. The middle of the lilacs looks a little "washed out" but, actually it is from the shimmer- IRL it's pretty!! I stamped the butterfly twice- colored with copics- fussy cut- and layered with foam for a little dimension. Added the Hope die cut- three layers adhered and placed with foam.
For my next card I used some of the new stamps from a new designer...
the Friends Cling Stamp set
So, using Alcohol inks is a bit trendy now - and, you know- I had to try it out!! Thought this would be a fun set for my first venture!! After the alcohol inks dried I stamped the sentiment from Friends Cling Stamp set with stazon ink. I'm sure there are more sophisticated ways to use the ink but, I am experimenting at this point. You have to use Yupo paper or something similar- drop the ink on and it spreads out. You can mix the inks and use alcohol blending solution to "spread" the ink out even more.
Used another sentiment from the set for the inside along with some of the "sketchy" hearts in complimentary colors.
. Looking for some awesome inspiration?

Lilacs are my fave flower. You made them look so vibrant. Usually I have to wait until the end of April to see them. Thanks for the early treat.
