SSCB - Polka Dots and/or Gingham!!

First post of the day!! Welcome, Welcome to the next installment of the Serendipity Stamps Blog Challenge. It's polka dots and/or gingham!

Love this image- Three Dresses... a bit of a Victorian feel-- although I have to tell ya' I grew up with hanging the wash on the line (weather permitting) and then, throwing in the dryer to fluff. Anyone with me on this one??? Not to mention Mom getting her hair done once a week and standing behind a chair to "rat" it in between... the bouffant days, LOL!!

I did some paper piecing (polka dots for the middle dress) and added the gingham with ribbon! Just had to do both with this image.

On the inside I stamped the image again and overstamped the sentiment. Now. you know why I was reminiscing a little!!

Vickie your sweet dresses look so real! Great paper choices my dear! And I remember helping my sweet Grandma hang her clothes out on the line in the summer! It is such a great memory! I can still smell the clean freshness when we would take them down in the late afternoon sunshine! Your card is gorgeous and I love the memories that came with it! I own this set too! :)
Hugs,
Jill

Your paper piecing is amazing and that bow is just... sigh... dreamy! I love that you did the inside of the card too - it looks so finished and professional!

Oh how I want this stamp!! Love this image, and the dramatic bow, and that sentiment is so true. Who doesn't look fondly on their childhood, even a simple wash day?
